Autumn 2021

This international workshop aims to strentghten the cooperation between neurologist and speech scientists working on neurospeech data. Everyone who is interested in the workshop is welcome and can participate. We do not charge a participation fee, but we would like you to register for the workshop by email.

The program will cover the following topics:

  • Mechanisms of Speech Motor Control
  • Aging Effects on Speech
  • Speech Symptoms in patients with Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor
  • Speech changes induced by medical treatment and deep brain stimulation

Note from 15.09.2020: POSTPONED by one year!

Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 situation forces us to rearrange things again and again. As the number of infections continues to rise at the moment, we are unable to hold the workshop in person. As we prefer sitting together, having an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and a fruitful discussion and as we wanted to give the opportunity talking about individual data in more detail, the workshop will be postponed by one year.

We hope that in a year’s time we will have the opportunity to meet each other in person or if this is still not possible that we will have improved our skills in organizing virtual events.

Hope to see you next year. Stay informed by this website!
